Los trabajadores venezolanos tenemos cuatro años sin recibir un aumento salarial. Esta es una realidad objetiva y contundente, que sufrimos especialmente los días de pago de las quincenas, o al recibir el bono vacacional o los aguinaldos. El salario de un servidor público oscila entre los 130 y los 300 bolívares mensuales, dependiendo de la antigüedad o el grado académico. Hay profesores universitarios, titulares, con doctorados y más de 20 años de experiencia, que cobran menos de 1000 bolívares mensuales, es decir, aproximadamente 2 dólares al mes. Un trabajador público promedio puede tener, fácilmente, una quincena de 174 bolívares. Esa es la realidad de los trabajadores del sector público en Venezuela hoy.
